Fitchburg, Mass. - The Fitchburg State College Baseball team defeated MIT, 5-3, Tuesday afternoon at Elliot Field behind Keith Weagle’s (Oxford, MA) complete game victory.
Fitchburg State College overcame a two-run deficit to defeat UMass-Boston, 8-6, Friday afternoon in non-conference baseball action in Fitchburg.
The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Buccaneers (20-12 overall, 7-5 MASCAC) swept the Falcons of Fitchburg State (10-21 overall, 3-11 MASCAC) Saturday in a Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference doubleheader with wins of 7-2 and 9-0.
