Mason Named To MASCAC All-Conference Team

Leominster, Mass. native earns second career All-Conference honor
FITCHBURG, Mass. (May 3, 2013) – Junior David Mason (Leominster, Mass./Leominster) represented the Fitchburg State baseball team on the 2013 MASCAC All-Conference baseball team as announced by the league office earlier this week.
Mason collects his second career All-Conference honor after being named to the All-Conference second team in the outfield. During his freshman campaign, Mason was also named to the MASCAC All-Conference second team.
This year, Mason witnessed a breakout season, leading Fitchburg State is most categories including batting average, hits, walks, RBI and on-base percentage. The third-year veteran notched a career season for the Falcons, hitting .374 with 43 hits, including three doubles, 15 runs scored, 21 walks, 20 RBI and a .471 on-base percentage.
The Fitchburg State baseball team concluded the 2013 season with an overall record of 14-21-1 and a 4-10 mark in the MASCAC.
