Fitchburg State Nabs Second MASCAC Football Fan Play of the Week Award

The Fitchburg State Falcons football team has earned their second Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Football Fan Play of the Week of the season.

The Falcons were able to win their second play of the week with 57 percent of the vote. Massachusetts Maritime came in second with 33 percent of the vote. Framingham State and Western Connecticut State joined the two schools as fellow nominees. 

In the winning play for this week, Fitchburg State quarterback Garrett Dellechiaie steps back and shoots a short pass to Jordan Almore who squeezes by some Bridgewater State defenders for the 24 yard touchdown. You can see video of the play below.
