Earlier in the week Easter was tabbed Hero Sports D3 Defensive Stud of the Week, which put him in the running for D3 Football Defensive Hero of the Week after the fourth-year defensive back highlighted the Falcons defense, registering eight tackles, including five solo stops, two fumbles forced and a pass defended in the Green and Gold's 13-7 last minute victory over Westfield State University last weekend..
The Fitchburg State football team (7-2, 5-2 MASCAC) returns to action next Saturday as it hosts the Panthers of Plymouth State University for a 3 pm kickoff on senior day.
