Bio
Kayla Quinn is entering her 6th season as the Head Field Hockey Coach at Fitchburg State University and her 8th season overall as a collegiate head coach. Prior to joining Fitchburg State, she served as the Head Field Hockey Coach at Becker College, where she helped develop student-athletes both on and off the field.
During her five seasons at Fitchburg State, Coach Quinn has led a remarkable turnaround of the program. After inheriting a team that finished 2-16, she has guided the Falcons to back-to-back winning seasons while establishing a culture of competitiveness and growth. Under her leadership, multiple student-athletes have earned All-Conference honors, and the program recently achieved 11 wins in a single season, a milestone Fitchburg State had not reached in more than a decade. The progress reflects her commitment to player development, team culture, and long-term program building.
A 2017 graduate of Worcester State University, Kayla has dedicated her career to growing the sport of field hockey throughout Central Massachusetts. In addition to her collegiate coaching responsibilities, she serves as a coach for NEXUS, USA Field Hockey's official Olympic Development Pathway Program, coaches with Cape Ann Field Hockey Club, and serves as the Head Coach of the Central Massachusetts Team for the Bay State Games, a position she has held for the past five years.
Kayla is also the founder of Leominster Youth Field Hockey and the owner of Level Up Field Hockey Private Training. Through these programs, she is committed to expanding opportunities for young athletes and increasing participation in the sport throughout the Tri-Town area and beyond.
Beyond her work in field hockey, Kayla is a Project Coordinator for Stiver Inc., a nationally recognized women-owned broadcast engineering and production company.
Coach Quinn resides in Leominster with her fiancé Kevin and son Calvin.
