Fitchburg State Men's Basketball Hosts Youth Clinic at Local YMCA
Head Coach Titus Manderson and the Fitchburg State men’s basketball team conducted a youth basketball clinic for children from the area.
FITCHBURG, Mass. – On Saturday, November 1st Head Coach Titus Manderson and the Fitchburg State men's basketball team visited the Fitchburg YMCA to conduct a youth basketball clinic for children from the area. The players conducted a clinic, ran drills, and gave instruction to a group of youngsters who participated with great effort and enthusiasm.
Throughout the course of the 2014-15 season the squad will continue to conduct a series of clinics at the Y with the aim toward helping youth in the Fitchburg area gain not only greater basketball skills, but increased self-confidence as they participate in the Y's academic and athletic activities.
Coach Menderson and his team are presently working on plans to offer youth clinics over the summer months. Please check for announcements in the coming weeks.
