Bell Named MASCAC and WACBA Player Of The Week

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Junior guard Jaleel Bell was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) as well as Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the MASCAC and WACBA earlier this week.
The junior guard averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals per contest for the Falcons to go along with two blocks and two assists in a 1-1 week for the Green and Gold. Bell posted nine points, seven caroms, two assists and pair of blocks in a 76-75 setback to Wheaton College on Thursday before adding a season-best 32 points, four boards and three steals in a 57-56 win over #13 WPI on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's basketball team (5-5, 0-0 MASCAC) returns to court on Wednesday evening as it hosts the Falcons of Fisher College for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
