FITCHBURG, Mass. (December 4, 2008) - Fitchburg State junior forward Andrew Hutton (Brewster, Mass./Boston Harbor Wolves) was tabbed the ECAC Northeast Ice Hockey Player of the Week as selected by conference officials this Tuesday.
In a 1-0 week for the Falcons, Hutton paced the Fitchburg State attack, leading the Falcons to a 6-3 victory over the Stonehill College Skyhawks. The junior forward tallied a career-high five points on two goals and three assists.
This season, Hutton leads the Falcons with a team-best eight points on four scores and four helpers. He has totaled a team-high two power-play goals over six games while adding to his career total of 39 points with 17 goals and 22 assists.
Fitchburg State (4-2-0, 2-1-0 ECAC NE) will be in action again on Wednesday as it hosts Nichols College at 7 p.m.
