McPherson Earns Pair Of MASCAC Weekly Honors
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman Connor McPherson was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player of the Week as well as MASCAC Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman Connor McPherson was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player of the Week as well as MASCAC Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The first-year Falcon posted four points on two goals and two assists in a 2-0 week for the Green and Gold. McPherson collected his first goal with the game winning tally in Fitchburg State's 3-2 win over New England College on Tuesday before adding one score and a pair of helper in the Flacons 7-3 win against Framingham State on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (3-1-0, 1-0-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as it hosts the Owls of Westfield State University for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
