Salem, Mass. native earns second weekly accolade of the season
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Ben Sattiewhite was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track Co-Field Athlete Of The Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Sattiewhite collects his second weekly honor of the season after placing 12th overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.98 meters at the NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field National Championships this past weekend at the Charles Benson Bear '39 Recreation and Athletic Center Field House on the campus of Grinnell College.
Select members of the Fitchburg State men's and women's indoor track teams recently concluded the 2015-16 season two weeks ago as the men completed in the 2016 ECAC DIII Championships at Ocean Breeze (Staten Island, N.Y.), while the women's team competed at the 2016 Tufts Last Chance Qualifier Meet.
