Stalters Named MASCAC And ECAC DIII NE Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete Of The Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Cameron Stalters was recently tabbed both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII New England Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Sophomore Cameron Stalters was recently both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII New England Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Stalters earns his fourth weekly accolade of the year after placing first overall in the javelin with an Open New England qualifying toss of 67.23 meter at the Elmer Swanson Outdoor Classic Invitational, hosted by Wesleyan University on Saturday afternoon. With that toss, Stalters currently ranks second in nation in the javelin.
The Fitchburg State men's outdoor track team returns to action this weekend as it competes in the 2017 MASCAC/Alliance Championships, hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday, starting at 10 AM.
