How It Happened
Junior Jacob Movsessian (New Ipswich, N.H.) led the way for the Falcons with 29th place time of 26:14.94 over the five mile course, while classmate Timothy Sheehy (Wakefield, R.I.) followed in 43rd place with a time of 26:42.62.
Freshman Matthew Catarius (Shrewsbury, Mass.) entered the chute next with a time of 27:52.89, while classmate Brian O'Sullivan (Templeton, Mass.) was next for the Green and Gold, turning in a time of 27:58.17. Rounding out the top seven finishers for the Falcons were newcomer Samuel Flint (Methuen, Mass.) (28:04.11), junior Joe Weston (Middleton, Mass.) (28:09.80) and sophomore Trevor Fields (Shirley, Mass.) (28:52.19).

Fitchburg State placed 12th overall at last year's Corsair Invite with a total of 173 points
WPI won the 2019 Corsair UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational with a total of 61 points.
