Rose Named MASCAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman guard Kyra Rose was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman guard Kyra Rose was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Rose registered her first collegiate double-double in the Falcons 74-43 win over Mount Ida College. The first year player, who has won the award for the third time this season, registered 20 points and 12 rebounds as well as seven assists and one steal in the Green and Gold's fourth win of the season.
The Fitchburg State women's basketball team (4-3, 0-0 MASCAC) returns to action during the semester break on Friday, December 30th as it hosts Nichols College for a contest starting at 3 p.m.
