Rose Tabbed MASCAC Rookie Of The Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman guard Kyra Rose was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Rockland, Mass. native earns fourth weekly accolade of the year
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman guard Kyra Rose was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
Rose earns her second straight and fourth overall weekly honor of the season after collecting a double-double of 20 points (7-for-15) and 11 rebounds as well as three assists, one steal and two blocks in the Green and Gold's 79-64 win against Nichols College on Friday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State Women's Basketball team (5-3, 0-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Wednesday as it visits Westfield State University for a contest starting at 7:30 p.m.
