Rose Collects D3 Hoops.com All-Northeast Region And New England Women's Basketball Associaton Rookie Of The Year Honors
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman guard Kyra Rose was selected both D3 Hoops Women’s Basketball All-Northeast Region and New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Year Accolades as announced by D3 Hoops.com and the NEWBA office earlier this week.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State freshman guard Kyra Rose was selected both D3 Hoops Women's Basketball All-Northeast Region and New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Year Accolades as announced by D3 Hoops.com and the NEWBA office earlier this week.
Rose, polished off her stellar rookie campaign for the Green and Gold, ranking third in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with 467 points (19.5 ppg), while also collecting 191 rebounds, 91 assists, 49 steals and 31 blocked shots for the Falcons.
For her effort, Kyra was tabbed MASCAC a Women's Basketball Player of the Year as well as earning Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) DIII New England Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year honors.
