Club Women's Ice Hockey Information
Statement:
The purpose of our Women’s Ice Hockey Club is to provide women on campus the opportunity to play ice hockey in a competitive and supportive environment. We are new members of the Independent Women’s Club Hockey League (IWCHL) Associates Division, where we compete with other clubs while fostering teamwork, athletic development, and community. All are welcome to join, whether you are an experienced player or new to the sport.
We look forward to encouraging future generations interested in playing ice hockey at a non-NCAA level to apply to Fitchburg State University. We are also established in the hopes of one day providing the opportunity for an NCAA-level Varsity Fitchburg State University Women’s Ice Hockey team. This club will create an impactful school-wide integration of students and the hockey community.
