The MASCAC and Fitchburg State University have announced that all competition for our fall sports has been suspended for the fall 2020 season. The programs impacted by this decision include men's and women's soccer, women’s volleyball, field hockey, men’s and women’s cross country and football. This news is tremendously disappointing, but was made in the best interest of the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaches and staff members.
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State University held its seventh annual National Collegiate Athlete Honor Society (NCAHS) induction ceremony on Monday, with 25 student-athletes being recognized for their academic achievements.
WESTFIELD, Mass. — A total of 136 Fitchburg State University student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league's Fall/Winter 2019 All-Academic Team that was released by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
FITCHBURG, Mass. –The 2019 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Fall Sportsmanship Teams were recently announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon as 56 MASCAC student-athletes were recognized.
Brunswick, Maine. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team placed 39th overall (out of 54 teams) with a total of 1174 points at the NCAA Division III New England Women’s Cross Country Regional Championships today, hosted by Bowdoin College.
Boston, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team placed 11th overall (out of 21 teams) with a total of 291 points at the 2019 Suffolk University Cross Country Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Westfield, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women's cross country team competed at the 2019 James Early Memorial Invitational, hosted by Westfield State University this morning.
Keene, N.H. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team placed 16th overall with a total of 446 points at the 2019 Keene State Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.
North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team placed 23rd overall with a total of 633 points at the 43rd annual UMass Dartmouth Cross Country Invitational this afternoon.
Fitchburg, Mass. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team hosted its annual Jim Sheehan Memorial Alumni Invitational today at the Doyle Conservation Center, placing eighth overall with 219 points.
FITCHBURG, Mass. – The Fitchburg State women’s cross country team was recently selected fifth with a total of 15 points in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASACAC) Pre-Season Coaches Poll as voted by the league coaches.
Keene, N.H. – The Fitchburg State University women’s cross country team opened their 2019 season on Saturday, placing seventh verall at the 2019 Keene State College Early Bird Invitational with a total of 193 points.
